Ray > This hard-to-see shot was taken at the end of Geauga Lake's 1999 season. If you look closely, the vacant lot to the left of the Big Dipper was formerly the Geauga Lake Arcade. Shipwreck Falls was installed here for the 2000 season.

Ray > A blurry shot of the Musik Express, also taken at the end of Geauga Lake's 1999 season. Note the bulldozer to the left which was preparing land for the eventual Hurricane Bay wave pool. Also note that this was the final year for the Musik Express with its lighting package and tunnel backdrop.

Ray > The Tasmanian Devil was a sign of things to come as he and other "Looney Tunes" characters were roaming Geauga Lake's midways during the 1999 Fright Fest event. The Time Warp (Chance Double Inverter) can be seen in the background and was new that year. Unfortunately, empty midways were also a sign of things to come...

Ray > Batman Knight Flight (2000 B&M floorless coaster) featured the world's tallest vertical loop. The ride also had a beautiful setting on the edge of the lake. The Gotham City Stage can be seen at the right.

Ray > Batman Knight Flight's Cobra Roll element passed directly over the ride's entrance. The overbanked turn element can be seen behind the cobra roll.

Ray > A look at Batman Knight Flight from the loading station of the Serial Thriller (Vekoma SLC).

Ray > Batman Knight Flight's final two inversions were a pair of interlocking corkscrews (or "flat spins").

Ray > A look at Batman Knight Flight's interlocking flat spins from the loading platform. Batman Knight Flight now operates as Dominator at Kings Dominion in Doswell, VA.
